Australian Capital Territory State Rebate(Sustainable Household Scheme)

The ACT offers low-interest loans (3%) up to $15,000 through the Sustainable Household Scheme, stackable with the federal rebate.

  • Low-interest loans (3% fixed) from $2,000 to $15,000
  • Changed from zero-interest to 3% interest on 1 July 2025
  • Repayable over up to 10 years
  • Concession card holders can access zero-interest loans via Home Energy Support Program
  • Can be combined with federal rebate (~$372/kWh) for maximum savings
