Western Australia State Rebate(WA Residential Battery Scheme)

From 1 July 2025, WA offers state battery rebates that stack with the federal rebate - up to $5,000-$7,500 total for a 10kWh battery.

  • Synergy customers: $130/kWh (up to $1,300 for 10kWh battery)
  • Horizon Power customers: $380/kWh (up to $3,800 for 10kWh battery)
  • Stacks with federal rebate for total of $5,000-$7,500 (10kWh battery)
  • WA also offers zero-interest loans to help with purchase
  • WA operates on SWIS grid (separate from NEM)
